Royal Rangers Uniforms

The Utility Uniform is the standard uniform for all age groups and leaders.  The style and design of this uniform makes it comfortable and suitable for regular active use.  The Utility Uniform is defined as consisting of the following elements:

Undershirts, awards vest, headgear, and belts are optional, unless otherwise specified for a particular event or setting.  If an undershirt is worn, no specific color is required.  Official RR blackweb belt must be worn when wearing RR tactical pants, and tactical pants must be worn when wearing the uniform in pin format (see below).  Footwear should be appropriate for the activity, although black footwear & black socks are recommended when wearing the RR tactical pants.

The Utility Uniform may be worn in two different configuations - PATCH format or PIN format.

The special uniform is a classification of uniforms that may be customized to meet the unique needs and preferences of the local outpost.  Special uniforms may take a variety of forms and may include customized clothing items displaying the Royal Rangers logo, your outpost number, and district.

Awards vests represent an alternative method of representing an individual’s awards and accomplishments in Royal Rangers.  Any awards that may be worn on the Dress or Utility Uniforms may also be worn on the awards vest.

OUR OUTPOST

Royal Rangers is a mentoring program for future men.  We provide Christlike character formation and servant leadership development for boys and young men in a highly relational and fun environment.  Our mission is to evangelize, equip, and empower the next generation of Christlike men and lifelong servant leaders. Royal Rangers provides an effective means of discipling boys by utilizing direct personal relationships between men and boys, developed around a core of shared interests and experiences.

What We Offer

Each age group in Royal Rangers utilizes its own unique advancement trail designed to meet the specific needs and interests of boys in that age group.  Boys complete advancement steps by earning a specified number of merits and/or completing other requirements.  Merits form the core of the Discovery, Adventure, and Expedition Rangers advancement systems. Each boy completes advancement steps and is awarded the cooresponding award insignia for the age group he is currently in.
